A Day(s) In The Holiday Life of Me

Holiday will officially over in September 23rd, so next Monday I'm gonna go to University again and have the normal-hectic life as a student again. Along this holiday I didn't do much mostly having lunch outside with friends, watching movies, went to the cinema or my most favorite part of the holiday was being able to read as much books as possible. Not like the theory book but more of a feel good books, I try to finished my english novel (yeaayyy!!!) I read 2 english novel by John Green and other kinds of random literature.

So, I read John Green's novel "The Fault In Our Stars" and "Looking For Alaska". I think both of those novel's pretty famous among people nowadays, especially people on tumblr.

Not too complicated, very touchy, beautifully written, describing the young adult life like exactly what it is and quoting from NPR.org "Green writes books for young adults, but his voice is compulsively readable that it defies categorization. He writes for youth, rather than to them, and the difference is palpable... You will be thankful for the little infinity you spend inside this book"
I personally like this book, so many lesson and message that I myself learned from his book. John Green, you nailed it! He actually producing the film right now and I can't wait for it to show up in the cinema!!!

This is the other book I read by John Green also a love story, also beautifully written, but slightly more complicated. I honestly like it better than The Fault In Our Stars because of the story was hard to guess and I enjoyed it sooo much. This book made me think If I know the love of my life only have one hundred and sixty-six more days to live, what will I do? What will my lover do? will it be a tragic death? will it be an ordinary death? and what will I do if we finally fall apart? My heart literally beat so fast towards the ending of the story, I was just can't stop reading it.

Both of those book are totally recommended!

And of course a holiday wasn't complete without a movie marathon, it was just uncountable movies. I don't even know how many movies I watched during the holiday. Action, comedy, romance, thriller, sic-fi, drama, musical, horror, everything! I think I watched more than 50 movies. out of that 50 or more movies I watched, my favorite was "Ruby Sparks".

Staring Paul Dano as Calvin and Zoe Kazan as Ruby Sparks, it's a fantasy-drama-romance film. It's about A novelist struggling with writer's block finds romance in a most unusual way: by creating a female character he thinks will love him, then willing her into existence. I like the story line was very fresh, catchy, and such a feel-good film. Beside, I like writing too so I feel some good connection to the film. It gave you the impression when you write, you create a new world, your world, your rule, your feeling, your life.

Maybe it sound boring to spent the holiday only watching movies and read books, but! I think I learnt so much from them and they were a great escape from a boring holiday.
