On People's Sight: Psychology

*on a conversation*
x: so, you're in the university right now? how is it?
y: yes :) it's nice
x: and, in what major are you in?
y: I take psychology
x: so you can read my mind? do you know what kind of person I am?
and so the conversation goes on and on and on...

I personally did this kind of conversation like a thousand time, and it kind of bother me that people somehow think that I am some kind of psychic or something. So people, aside from that "reading" stuff we do learn many other things. We don't just look at you in the eyes and all of the sudden know all of your past, present, and future. I honestly learn more to know about myself rather than learn about people's personality. Now how many people can clearly explain who they really are? Most of them will say "hm gimana ya, kan itu orang yang menilai" Come on! How long have you live on earth so you can't explain one damn thing about yourself? Know yourself more to love yourself most, because the more you know the more you appreciate. Right?

I think that's how I role, through psychology I learn to know myself more so that I can love myself more. Not that I'm narcissistic or anything but I can somehow find my hidden ability and able to explore more. Beside how can I implement what I learnt at university if I haven't done it to myself? How can I explain other's personality if I can't even explain mine? And that's what I'm doing right now, I will absorb everything and know myself more before I know about others.

Other story from my friend when someone asked her why does she take psychology, and she said "so that I can be more of a good role model to my kids some time in the future and I can be a good mother for them also a good wife for my future husband" how thoughtful is that? She even prepared her future family without even know a thing about them yet.

Well, in conclusion we learn more than just that "reading" stuff, there are so many other thing I can't even explain here. So much interesting than you've ever imagine ;)
